A is for the attraction

B is for the boy

G is for the girl

L is for the love poem of passion

They create

When they discover love.

A is for the affection they feel

B is for the bouquets of meaning

They’re very swept away by

And C is for the cookie

Lovers bake

When they make

Delicious love between them.

Love makes the world go round, but happiness creates its quieting effects.

What would happen if

the world chose not to communicate

for the personal good

not to be misunderstood?

Code the quiet rush

within the hush

of tranquility golden

free from the noise of disturbance

increasingly beholden

to the flight of body language.

That is to say

we’d live in different worlds

worlds apart

in the same world

solid into exterior angles

of non speak

as of buildings

or wedgelike pieces of stone

aimlessly unthrown

without a destination

every man for himself

girded frantic,

ciphered into the unspeakable,

a search for the lost sense of humor.

Greetings of the season.

May love surround your door,

your walk, your journey,

your comings and your goings,

you.

At Christmastide,

one to another

we explicitly note

how often we think of each other

and how merry we’ll be

annually

when hearts fill with hope.

Every sister and brother

looks forward

to a new year wrapped in faith,

brightened by peace,

blessed with charity.

Joyfully expectant is the love wish

that willingly strives toward

the sacred goal

of happiness eternal.
