DAYS OF THE WEEK

is just like any other day

when you must get up early

in the morning.

Weird Wednesday

starts off alright

but then it relates

to business

turning around and around

on the gridiron.

Routine applies

and you realize

it’s only the middle

of the week.

You know what they say

about blue Monday.

It’s the day before Tuesday.

Don’t take up sleep yawns

and snoring

because routine is boring

on weird Wednesday

which is followed by Thursday

with everyone waiting for Friday.

And, you must get up early

on Saturday morning

not to miss Sunday

for the weekend

goes by so fast.
